How I Lost 11 Lbs. Without Exercise

Here Are my Before and After Photos

Before

After Losing 11 Lbs.

I started my weight loss regimen, January 4, 2015.  The plan I followed was Jorge Cruise's The Belly Fat CureTM Fast Track: Discover the Ultimate Carb SwapTM and Drop Up to 14 lbs. the First 14 Days.  I followed the regimen to the best I could.  Some of the food in the plan were not available in my country so I had to do substitutions.  In 14 days, I lost 7 lbs.

After the 14th day,  losing 1 lb.  became longer to achieve but I kept on.  It took me 4 - 7 days to lose a pound of weight,  but the good thing was I was losing inches around my waist and my belly.  From a waistline of 40 inches,  I now have a 33 inch waist.

Middle of February,  I changed my eating plan.  For breakfast I have coffee with butter (Anchor unsalted) and stevia.  I eat an egg ( sunny-side up or scrambled ) if I feel hungry later in the morning.  For lunch I eat fish, chicken, pork or beef (cooked anyway I like it but without sugar or flour) with cooked or fresh veggies. Sometimes I eat these with 1/4 cup of steamed rice.

Evenings I drink a green smoothie.  The smoothie is my dinner.  This sustains me till morning without hunger pains.

My goal is to weigh 120 lbs and have a 25 inch waist.  I have to read Jorge Cruise's book again.

I Looked Obese and I Hated That Image of Myself

Last time I posted an article here was in 2013.  Let me confess.  I became heavier.  My weight reached the 150 lbs. limit for my built and height.  I saw myself for the first time, and I was shocked.  I looked double my younger self (98 lbs.) and I didn't like how I looked.  That was 1:00 AM New Year's Day, 2015.  We were happily shouting Happy New Year and taking photos of one another.  Then boom... my son showed me a photo he has just taken of me.  Shock and realization came flooding over me... I am OBESE...OBESE...OBESE.

I could not sleep well that New Year's Day. Much later that day I opened my laptop and searched for the fastest but healthy weight loss plan I can follow.  I started the plan January 4, 2015.  It is now March 6.  I've lost a total of 12 lbs.  My goal is to weigh 115 lbs. which is a healthy weight for my height, built and age.

My doctor was amazed that I lost that much in just a short time.  She said that women my age have a lot of difficulty shedding excess poundage.

In my next postings, I will narrate my experience and talk of the plan I followed.

Sugar Overload from Drinking Soda Get Kids Into Fights

Article from William Campbell Douglass II, M.D.'s Daily Dose

"Soda-swilling kids get into fights and smash things

Forget the spice and everything nice. Forget the snakes, snails and puppy dog tails. Today's kids are made of SUGAR, and lots of it -- and some lunatic parents are even giving their soon-to-be-juvenile-delinquents soda in preschool and kindergarten.

Yes, soda.

I'd like to be first in line to smack these people, but their own kids might beat me to it as new research confirms that young children given soda are more likely to be violent and aggressive. Kids who drink the most of these liquid sugar bombs at the age of five (yes, FIVE) are twice as likely to get into fights and destroy things.

And to top it all off, they have attention problems, too.

No kidding. You don't need a study to know that soda will turn a kid rotten in a heartbeat. Just common sense... something sadly lacking in today's so-called parents.

If you've got kids or grandkids don't give them any soda (of course), but do enroll them in self-defense.

They're going to need those skills." - William Campbell Douglas II M.D.

Aside: "These kids will be overweight,  addicted to sugar and diabetic." - Cgabriel

How Eating Beans Can Lead To Weight Loss

I've always known that eating beans can lead to weight loss but because of high uric acid in my blood chem result, my doctor forbade me to eat beans more than once a week.

Years ago after a major health crises, I went on a beans and green leafy vegetable diet. My weight went down. I lost 10 lbs and increased my energy level. But like all diets, it became boring. My bean recipes were admittedly limited. Today though, you can find lots of variations for a delicious bean recipe online.

I found this interesting article about beans beating weight gain:

Quoted from Nigerian Tribune

"Interestingly, if you are one of the millions of people worried about how best to lose weight or are unsuccessfully battling your weight, regular consumption of beans is a unique way to make your weight loss goals much more successful and easier to attain.

Of course, you can’t cheat nature by eating anything you want; but there is a new discovery, backed by real science, that seems to violate the laws of biochemistry. It suggests that taking certain foods like beans with one’s daily meals of starch and sugar carbohydrate foods in a way may aid weight loss.

These foods promote weight loss by interfering with the breakdown of complex carbohydrates thereby reducing, or at least slowing, the digestive availability of carbohydrate-derived calories and/or by providing resistant starches to the stomach."

Beans are a common staple in many third world countries where obesity is not prevalent. Beans contain alpha-amylase, a neutralising enzyme which blocks starchy food from breaking down and being absorbed into the body.

By including beans in your daily diet you may expect the following health benefits:

1.) Protection from breast and other forms of cancer.

2.) Improvement of symptoms of menopause.

3.) Strengthening of bones.

4.) Reducing the risk of heart attacks and strokes.

5.) Protection from weight gain.

If You Dream of Weight Loss, Try Getting a Good Night's Sleep

Quoted from The Telegraph

"A research in Portland, USA, by Kaiser Permanente, a health care consortium, found that people trying to lose at least 10lb were more likely to reach their goal if they had lower stress levels and slept moderately.

Nearly 500 obese adults with an average age of 55 took part in the study.

They were asked to attend 22 counselling sessions, reduce their diet by 500 calories a day and increase the amount of exercise they took to at least three hours a week.

They also had to keep a diary of their habits, including their sleep patterns and stress levels.

After six months, 60 per cent of the participants had lost at least 10lb."

Getting at least 6 hours to eight hours of sleep every night is recommended.

The results of this study was published in The International Journal of Obesity.

Can you transform your body in only 49 days?

Transform Fat to Muscle With the Amazing 49-Day Body Transformation

This article got to me. The surety that one can transform one's body from mush (fat) to muscle in 49 days is amazing.

Can you imagine your fat stomach disappearing and in its place are hard muscles? I can. My son was able to do it. Took discipline and gym work to accomplish the feat, but he did it. He is now fit and slim as he was never before. His 'fat loss bible' is Tom Venuto's Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle fat burning system.

Here's Tom Venuto's answer to the question above:

"YES, it really is possible to transform your body from mushy with rolls of fat, to muscle with six-pack abs in Just 49 Days.

I’ll show you how in this article and the before and after pictures will prove it (more stunning transformation pictures below).

I’m sure some people are thinking, “Yeah right – I’ve heard this before, and I’m surprised to hear it from you Tom, because you’ve never been a quick fix guy.”
